Vision Experience this Sunday
We’re now 3 days away from the first Vision Experience for the new church here in Indianapolis. I can’t wait to share the vision of the church and catch up with many old and new friends. We’re going to have some fun with the experience, so if you’re in the Indy area you’re in for a good time. Here’s the details:

Specific Prayers for Our Son & the Vision Experience
Thank you to everyone for the countless prayers and words of encouragement. We especially love those taking time to pray for a miracle our son! We believe fully in the God’s power and that He listens to our prayers. For those looking for a more specific prayer, we want to encourage you to pray for the healing of his brain.
The main reason the doctor does not feel he will make it is that his brain is not divided ...
Please Join Us in Praying for a Miracle
Thank many of you for your recent prayers. It’s been a very tough week as we learned about the likely genetic disorder of our second son. Please join with us in praying for a miracle.
Lisa is able to explain the situation best. Below is a message from her.
Josh and I have some news to share with you.
September 29th – We went to a 3D/4D place to finally find out the gender of our lil nugget of joy. We found ...
Monday Meltdown
Welcome to the first installment of the Monday Meltdown. Each Monday I’m going to give a quick and random update on the church, life, etc…There’s so many great, but challenging things happening right now….so here’s a quick update:
1. Plain Joe Studios is working on the design for the church branding and Partnership Plan this week. Our team will be pretty excited to see how both of these turn out and we feel blessed to work with PJS.
2. VisionFest – ...
Walk the Line
I’ve been meaning to write this post for some time, but with so much going on I haven’t been able to. A couple of weeks ago I got into a confrontation with a nice guy at Walmart. I say “nice guy” because I’m pretty sure he was to most people, but I didn’t feel he was being nice to me. Have you ever felt like someone’s not being nice to you?
I had thrown my back/neck out ...
Back in Indy
I’m officially back in the Indy “office” this week after a great 10 days in California. We’re off to a great start in raising support (over 10% of our goal is committed). It was great having Eric Maitlen (our worship and mission director) out with me for a couple of days meeting the people at PFB. I’m really looking forward to working with the team God is bringing together.
My major goal this week is to connect with as ...
Tonight
I’m excited for tonight and the opportunity to worship with everyone at Wednesdays here in Pomona, California. Brian Holland will be casting the vision for the future of the ministry tonight, so if you live in the so. Cal. area I really want to encourage you to be there.
Also, be sure to check out my boy, Eric Maitlen, who will be here from Indianapolis. He’ll be playing keys with Jarret and the band tonight, so be sure to ...
Qu’ran Burning Man
We’ve tackled some tough issues on the blog, but this isn’t one of them. Most of you are familiar with Pastor Terry Jones and his former plans for “International Burn a Koran Day”.
The part I think I love best is that it’s “international”…aka 50 people in the middle of nowhere in Florida : ). The entire thing really was quite an overblown spectacle wasn’t it.
The part that is not funny is that people in ...
My New So. Cal. Office
I have a number of things I’d like to blog about including the Florida pastor planning to burn Qu’rans and my angry encounter with a Wal-mart employee, but I’m going to be focusing for the next two days on the Vision Breakfast partnership banquet coming this Saturday morning. If you live in southern California and are interested in reserving a spot please e-mail Calli (calli@pfblive.tv) right away. Here’s the details for the banquet:
What: Be the first to hear ...
Tuesday Happenings
I had coffee this morning with two guys taking on leadership roles for the new church. Their names are Eric Maitlen and Justin Kruse. I thought some of you might be interested in how the team is coming together.
Eric Maitlen leads a ministry called 2:8 and is part of My Yellow Rickshaw a local Indy band. Eric will be overseeing Worship and Mission for the new church. He and his wife Jillian have been doing ministry for years. It’s weird, ...
